Breastfeeding Your Baby

Evidence suggests that breastfeeding your baby is by far the best source of nourishment for infants.
Breast milk is the only food naturally designed for your baby. It contains all the nutrients your baby needs, in the right amounts and in a form that is very easily absorbed.
Breastfeeding your baby assists development because the composition of breastmilk even changes as your baby grows. Foremilk is the milk released at the begining of a feed and is watery, low in fat but high in carbohydrates, whereas hindmilk, which is released as the baby continues to feed, is much creamier.
